A downloadable game for Windows

I made this back in high school in gamemaker 8, so don't be too rough on it.

Player 1 uses WASD, F, G, and H, while player 2 uses the arrow keys and 1, 2, and 3 on the numpad. Try fiddling with the num lock if it doesn't work.

RussiaVPoland, the second file (in the zip) is made in gamemaker studio 2, and is much newer and is also unfinished. It uses f and g (and 1 and 2) to scroll through selections and J and 3 to place. It's less polished, and probably will never be finished.

While it's a good game, I don't think Russians and Poles will like it too much. No, I am not Russian or Polish.

I wanted to change the name if I was going to properly finish the game, Colored Combat was the top contender but Russia Vs Poland has already stuck pretty hard and I'd have to get used to it. It'll probably stick as the working title perpetually- I may change it if I get around to finishing it, however. Maybe with online play instead of what it has currently.

Oh! hope so. good luck.

How to control the tank?

Sorry for the way too late reply, the tanks are absolutely completely broken at the moment (in the newer edition, anyway) and to my testing immediately crash the game when they try to spawn. I'll probably see if I can't dig up the files for it and polish it a little into something playable on par with the old exe, but this thing has been long forgotten.

This youtube video shows a glimpse of what the tanks used to do, drive to the nearest building and attack it while being attacked like a building themselves. It was a clever mechanic, at least I thought at the time, since the old ones just sat on top of buildings and ground them into the dirt before moving to the next one.

Thank you very much for playing it, though! I'll try to see if I can't turn on notifications so that I receive them outside of the website and actually respond in a timely manner rather than almost a year late.
